About Me

       This blog came out from my experiences. Writing has always been a passion of mine,  first as a creative child, then to my teenage years in school and now as an adult. Early on, my ideas were just that, ideas in my head, not realized on paper. Now, I have published my first children's book, created my blog and am working on my second book.  I started my children's book late at nights while everyone slept. As the years went by, different life experiences sparked several ideas for my upcoming books and my blog. 

       In 2019 I lost one of my twins in the womb during pregnancy which was, needless to say, very devastating. During the rest of my pregnancy, I made a pact with God that if the other baby could be born healthy, he could take me and I would be at ease knowing my baby was healthy. But, He had other plans for me, I am still here. Unfortunately, six months after giving birth, I became ill with mono and never got better. What I mean is, months and months went by after being diagnosed with mono and I still wasn't feeling better. In the end, after years of doctor visits, bloodwork, scans and ultrasounds, it turns out that from that bout with mono came fibrolmyalgia and celiac disease which would both stay with me for the rest of my life. In an instant, I went from feeling like superwoman to struggling to make it through the day.

        Fast forward to 2023 and I am in a much better place mentally. I still have my good and bad days physically, but I have learned how to manage it better.  A friend of mine, who shares my love of writing also, told me that writing about your own trials and tribunes can not only help yourself, but perhaps help other people out there who may suffer like you do. I can't wait to hear from my visitors out there about their experiences and hopefully I can give someone out there some new hope.
